Taper Lock Bushes
Taper Lock bushes provide one of the most efficient and cost-effective methods of connecting components with shafts.
The tapered end fits into a tapered bore in the coupling to be driven by the shaft and the locking action results from forcing the bush into the bore using axial grub screws.DRC Couplings
These are semi-elastic couplings designed for general purpose use. Assembly is made quick and easy by means of a Taper Lock bush.
Fully machined outside diameters allow alignment through basic straight edge methods.Tyreflex Couplings
Tyreflex couplings combined with a Taper Lock bush provide a torsionally elastic coupling and have the ability to accommodate simultaneous misalignment in all planes without causing excessive loads on adjacent bearings.
The flexible type provides excellent shock-absorbing properties thus reducing vibrational and torsional oscillations. The accompanying tyres are available in natural rubber compounds for use in ambient temperatures of between -50°C and +50°C.Weld-on Hubs
Manufactured from mild steed (070M20), these are drilled, tapped and taper bored to receive standard Taper Lock bushes. The outer shoulder provides a convenient means of welding hubs into other components where firm fastening to a shaft is required.Bolt-on Hubs
Designed for use with standard Taper Lock bushes, these provide a convenient means of securing fan rotors, impellers, agitators and other such devices which must be securely fastened to a shaft.Adaptors
Adaptors for use with standard Taper Lock bushes eliminate the need to drill, tap or taper-bore where parallel bored components are is use.Don't See What You Want?
